In occasione della giornata del contemporaneo Deposits, il cantiere di immagini di Felicity Hammond sarà scosso dai territori accidentati e spezzati fatti di Electro, IDM e Braindance del selektor @AcidZab. 

Nei suoi assemblaggi digitali, Felicity Hammond tratta le immagini come zone di scavo in un passaggio di stato continuo tra materia e pixel. Gli scarti di cantiere, i marmi, le radici e i materiali plastici si ibrideranno con nuove strutture ritmiche, texture elettroniche e allucinazioni industriali.

AcidZab è il progetto elettronico che Samuele Maoloni ha ideato nel 2013 spinto dalla scoperta della House e della Techno e dalla crescente devozione verso tutto il mondo della musica elettronica. Dal 2016 entra a far parte dello staff dell’etichetta Sonic Belligeranza di Riccardo Balli partecipando come co-produttore ad alcuni progetti musicali, tra cui Frankenstein Or The 8-Bit Prometheus radio drama, iniziato nel 2017 e terminato nel 2018 per la web radio bolognese OC!WR. Attualmente continua a pubblicare mix online come “A. Selector”, collabora per la rivista di musica, arte e moda T-mag e per Link Academy Radio conducendo mensilmente “AcidZab Info Point”. Nel 2023 entra a far parte della crew dei party Bohemien Club come dj resident aprendo per artisti come Marco Passarani.

In the framework of the Day for Contemporary Art, the exhibition Deposits by @Felicity Hammond’s will be shaken by the rough and broken territories made of Electro, IDM and Braindance by selektor @AcidZab. 

In her digital assemblages, Felicity Hammond treats images as excavation areas in a continuous transition between matter and pixels. Yard waste, marbles, roots, and plastics will hybridize with new rhythmic structures, electronic textures, and industrial hallucinations. 

BIO

AcidZab is the electronic project that Samuele Maoloni conceived in 2013 driven by the discovery of House and Techno and a growing devotion to the whole world of electronic music. Since 2016 he joined the staff of Riccardo Balli’s Sonic Belligeranza label participating as co-producer in some musical projects, including Frankenstein Or The 8-Bit Prometheus radio drama, started in 2017 and finished in 2018 for the Bolognese web radio OC!WR. He currently continues to publish mixes online as “A. Selector,” collaborates for music, art and fashion magazine T-mag and for Link Academy Radio by hosting monthly “AcidZab Info Point.” In 2023 he joined the Bohemian Club party crew as a resident DJ opening for artists such as Marco Passarani.
