UNDRESSING is an excursus through some steps of the vegetarian diet – through its colors and flavors – in a gourmet mood,  it is a path that following the advance of the season, from spring to summer, gradually excludes products with an animal origin, with a food proposal that “gets undressed” to the last week of programming. The conception and design of the menus are curated by Manuela Cavallo.

UNDRESSING is a visual storytelling, the interaction between sign and food is put in place through direct experience: the menu is actually told through contemporary drawings by Mattia Caracciolo.

UNDRESSING is a way to purify the body through a diet that goes from lacto-ovo-vegetarian to vegan to raw foodism and then finally to the fruitarianism, and at the same time, a way to undress it, getting rid/taking off a dress or an accessory time to time, following the change of temperature, passing from the jacket to the bikini.

UNDRESSING is a limited edition notebook that dresses like a platter and vice versa, with content ranging from odes to food (poems by Massimo Cattafi) to fashion column (Ernesto Avenia), from sections about the different perceptions of the human body according to the influence of trends (Gaia Pallotta)  to critical studies on the food properties and information about their nutritional values (Silvia Gaiani).

Following the plots of FOOD – BODY –FASHION – food comes in and acts in our body, fashion wraps our body and represents ts – UNDRESSING is an all-accomplished synaesthetic experience declined in 8 weeks.
